NEW SOUTH FLORIDA STARTUP HACKS SPRING CLEANING FOR MIAMI CUSTOMERS

Stow Simple Partners with NEAT Method and Miami Rescue Mission to Provide Multiple Solutions to Cleaning Up

(MIAMI, FL – April 27, 2016) Stow Simple, a new disruptive valet storage company, announced today that it has teamed up with the NEAT Method and Miami Rescue Mission to help local customers hack their Spring Cleaning and year-round organizational needs. The partnerships offer Stow Simple customers easy solutions to organizing their home spaces as well as donating gently used clothing items to charity.

For those needing extra assistance with the process of organizing their home, Stow Simple will put them in touch with NEAT Method’s local organizer Tatiana Blanco.  Blanco will help customers through the decluttering process in every nook and cranny of their home, from the closet to the junk room. Not only will she work to create a better living space, but also to provide sustainable systems that maintain everything in their proper place.

During this sorting process when customers find themselves with clothing they no longer need, they can now donate these items Miami Rescue Mission.

When customers order bins to their home, Stow Simple will drop these off along with an empty Miami Rescue Mission Clothing Donation Bag.  Customers can simply fill them with garments and Stow Simple will pick it up and deliver it to the charity for them. Not only does this make the process of giving away gently used items seamless, but the philanthropic donation is tax deductible.

To celebrate these new partnerships and encourage Miami to clean and declutter their homes this season, Stow Simple is offering new customers $25 off with promotional code “Spring16.” (This discount is valid now through May 20, 2016.)

Stow Simple's stores your bins, boxes and other items are stored safely in a climate-controlled warehouse, which is insured and monitored 24/7.

The company was created by startup expert Silvia Camps, a former executive with Dylan’s Candy Bar, who felt the frustration of moving a few items out of her home by herself. Stow Simple is disrupting Miami's current storage model by offering valet service, which cuts out the heavy lifting and commuting currently associated with the traditional storage unit. Camps also came up with the idea for the “Urbin Closet,” which allows customers to effectively double (or triple) their closet size by using Stow Simple bins to store items for which they don't have room. You are charged by the bin, rather than for a pre-sized storage unit.

The Stow Simple process is threefold, and begins with complimentary home pickup. Within 24 hours, clients will receive Stow Simple branded bins to fill up with household items, which are stackable. Or they can store by the item, from regular and wardrobe boxes to furniture. Pricing is based upon how many bins are stored, specialty items or storage by size. All bins, boxes and furniture are taken directly to Stow Simple’s secure, air-conditioned storage facility. Finally, there is return delivery for when you want to be reunited with your wedding dress or need to use that backpacking gear again.

Stow Simple is a family-run business, with Silvia’s brother Jorge Camps bringing 13 years of experience from The Container Store with him. The company is truly committed to helping people keep their living space clean and organized, which provides a psychological advantage, as well as tranquility and joy.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with both NEAT Method and the Miami Rescue Mission, as they provide our customers with a full spectrum of services for their organizational needs as well as giving them a way to contribute to the community,” said Silvia Camps.

GADINSKY REAL ESTATE AND GROUP 10 CAPITAL ANNOUNCE NEW MIXED USED SPACE FOR MIAMI'S GROWING CREATIVE CLASS IN EL PORTAL DISTRICT

Landmark Church Property Will Be Repurposed to Include Office and Artist Space

(MIAMI, FL – March 30, 2016) - Seth Gadinsky of Gadinsky Real Estate, LLC, and Samuel Soriero of Group 10 Capital Management, LLC today announced that they have formed a joint venture to create The Sanctuary at El Portal, a new mixed use space for Miami's growing class of artists, artisans, and homegrown businesses in the emerging El Portal area. The 30,431-square-foot, 2-acre property, formerly home to the Rader Memorial United Methodist Church, is located at 205 NE 87th Avenue.

Scheduled to be ready by late December of this year, The Sanctuary will feature office and artist studio spaces, showrooms, and a restaurant/cafe. A dynamic event space will serve as a community hub for gallery openings, events, and the performing arts.

Leasing for The Sanctuary at El Portal is already underway and developers say future tenants can expect generously sized workspaces at affordable prices, as well as access to a large courtyard space, complimentary on-site parking, and long-term leasing options.

"We want the property to be a sanctuary for local talent and businesses that have been continuously priced out of the very neighborhoods they helped to create," said Gadinsky, Principal of Gadinsky Real Estate. "Sanctuary at El Portal is a truly unique space and we plan to redevelop it in a manner that preserves the integrity of the building and the area it serves. "

Located within the Little River / Little Haiti corridor, El Portal is located in close proximity to more than a dozen art galleries and creative workplaces such as GucciVuitton Gallery, Fountainhead Studios, and Made at the Citadel, many of which fled from areas such as Wynwood and the Design District after lease pricing increased.

Gadinsky and Soriero purchased the former Rader Memorial United Methodist Church, one of the oldest churches in Miami-Dade County, in February of this year. The Rader Memorial United Methodist Church was formed in 1923 and the property was then built in phases between 1952 (cathedral) and 1955 (school house).  Rader later merged with Fulford United Methodist Church located in North Miami. Eglise De Dieu Mont Des Oliviers La Nouvelle Jerusalem purchased the subject property on December 13, 2011 for $1,130,000 with the intention of rehabbing the property for their congregation.  The rehabilitation never took place and the property was then purchased by the Gadinsky Real Estate and Group 10 Capital in its original state.

The Village of El Portal is designated as a bird sanctuary and features sprawling live oaks, and exotic species such as green iguanas, peacocks, screech owls, cardinals and ibis.  The Village held an El Portal 2013 Planning and Design Charrette for the purpose of bringing together residents, officials, and planners to develop a plan to “activate” commercial stretches within the Village and grow its sense of community.  The charrette has culminated in a new Comprehensive Master Plan for the Village, which is still in draft form but will be formalized in the coming months.

“We are excited about the redevelopment plans for the church property in El Portal,” said Manager of El Portal Village, Jason Walker. “Seth Gadinsky and Sam Soriero have fully embraced the El Portal 2013 Planning and Design Charrette and they completely understand our residents’ vision for this part of NE 2nd Avenue.”

GADINSKY REAL ESTATE ANNOUNCES NEW RETAIL DEVELOPMENT AND TENANTS AT 12000 BISCAYNE BUILDING

Starbucks, European Wax Center and Mattress Firm bring center to 60% pre-leasing

Miami, FL (March 10, 2016) Gadinsky Real Estate, LLC, a full service retail real estate company, announced today that it has signed three new retail tenants for a proposed retail component of the 12000 Biscayne Building.  The 8-story, 146,000+ sq. ft. building, currently all office space, is located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, across the street from Whole Foods.  Confirmed tenants for the ground floor space, which will total approximately 11,300 sq. ft., include Starbucks (2,040 sq. ft.), European Wax Center (1,251 sq. ft.) and Mattress Firm (3,500 sq. ft.), bringing the retail space to 60% capacity.

The building owners, a partnership between Brandon of B, LLC and Gotham Associates, L.P., hired Gadinsky Real Estate to manage the redevelopment and leasing of the building's new ground floor retail space, which is currently vacant.  James Cohen of SBLM Architect, who designed the nearby Whole Foods, is the architect for the project, which will include the expansion of the existing building footprint to accommodate the new retail space.  The redevelopment is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2017.

There is still approximately 4,500 sq. ft. available for lease including an approximately 2,100 sq. ft. south end-cap space, which has been designated for a fast-casual restaurant.

"We are excited to announce the first three stores at 12000 Biscayne Center's new retail center as we actively seek the final two tenants to complete the retail mix," said Seth Gadinsky, owner of Gadinsky Real Estate. "The Center's prime location offers an ideal opportunity for both national and local retailers interested in serving the area's growing number of over 60,000 residents and day workers."

12000 Biscayne Building is located on the southwest corner of Biscayne Blvd. and NE 121st Street and is midway between Miami’s Design District and Aventura, with easy access to Downtown Miami.
